What makes Morning Star different?

HOUSE SYSTEM

The House System inculcates in children the spirit of loyalty co-operation and healthy competition. The House spirit teaches them to pull together and each member of the House feels the need to contribute his/her little bit to the House. The competition encourages a healthy, friendly rivalry between our four Houses of Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern and fosters a sense of pride in our individual student as they increasingly identify with and support the other members of their House.

EASTERN

MOTTO OF EASTERN HOUSE

Always Rise and Shine like the Sun in the East.

WESTERN

MOTTO OF WESTERN HOUSE

Always fight the Odds like the People of Desert in the West.

NORTHERN

MOTTO OF NORTHERN HOUSE

Always stand Upright like the Hills in the North.

SOUTHERN

MOTTO OF SOUTHERN HOUSE

Always broaden your Horizons like the Ocean in the South.

"ANNUAL SIT-N-DRAW" COMPETITION-2019

Mother Teacher Association (MTA)

mta2

Mother Teacher Association (MTA) is an association composed of mother-parents, teachers and management that is intended to facilitate parental participation in a school. The main aim of MTA is to enhance and improve the children's learning experience.

National Policy on Education, 1986, India

A 1992, “Program on Action” for the 1986 National Policy on Education encouraged ‘giving pre-eminence to people’s involvement including association of non-governmental and voluntary effort’.

Why we need MTA?

For a school to function properly, it is important for the teachers and parents to come together as one. Being a part of the MTA a parent gets involved with the activities in the school and thus can work towards improvising and enhancing the life of the students and the school as a whole.
